Welcome to the CommuniGate FC-gateway - the gateway between the CommuniGate System and the FirstClass® BBS manufactured by the SoftArc company. The application allows FirstClass users to access all messaging features of the CommuniGate System: LAN E-mail, Internet E-mail with MIME support (UUCP, SMTP, POP3, IMAP), Faxing, Paging, File and Print services, Mailing List services, etc.
The FC-gateway is a stand-alone application, not a CommuniGate communication module.
The application can provide services to several FirstClass systems connected with each other, while only one FirstClass system communicates with the CommuniGate Server via the CommuniGate FC-gateway.
The CommuniGate FC-gateway application should run on the same computer as the CommuniGate Server.
